Walking?

Our girl has been crawling since June 19th. She starting pulling herself up to stand a little before that. Last weekend she started standing on her own and cruising around the furniture. She can go from one piece of furniture to another with ease. How long did it take your little ones to start walking after they began cruising? I know every baby is different, just trying to mentally prepare for this next step (no pun intended). 😂

My guy has been standing on his own in the middle of the floor without holding on for a couple weeks now. No steps yet! He can stand for like 20-30 seconds alone. He will walk if we hold his fingers but we aren’t  helping him or holding him up....he just hasn’t figured out he can do it alone yet. I figured we probably have a week or so of “helping” him before he is off on his own.

My little one went from cruising to walking within a week 😬 she's not walking around yet but will walk between furniture or stand up and walk to me for a few steps if I'm on the floor.

I feel like mine has been cruising for a couple months but I think we are still a bit away from walking. She practices in a Walker and all and her form just isn't there yet for her to be ready to walk on her own

Idk exactly how long, but my girl pulled up just after she finally rolled over around 4/5 months and started cruising at 6/7months, she took her first steps solo at 8 months, we saw her testing when she was cruising, she would take her hands off and then grab the couch again... my advice, triple check your babyproofing, babyproof ALL the things!

My son cruised for about two months and was able to stand up from the floor with no assistance about three weeks before his first steps. It took about two weeks from his first steps before he would try to walk very far. It wasn’t until the last few days that he’s really been using it as much as he crawls.
