If i am understanding correctly yourw talkikg about the boiled water alone, not mixed up in formula yet? 
I dont think it matters. I used room temp bottled water all the time.

Boiled water can sit out at room temp as long as it hasn’t been mixed with formula. If you mix it with formula and you don’t plan to use it immediately, it needs to be refrigerated.

If formula is not being eaten immediately after being made it has to be stored in the fridge. Read the instructions on the container.

I kept mine in the fruit celler so it was out of the way and a little cooler then room temp but I don't think it matters as long as it's boiled first
