No baby in 8w5d ultrasound

According to my last period I am 8 weeks and 5 days . I have gotten 2 bfp’s . I went to get an ultrasound and the technician said they couldn’t see anything at all . I bled a week ago so I’m a bit worried I miscarried . Would they be able to see that in the ultrasound? Has anyone dealt with this? This isn’t my picture but this is kind of what it looked like , I honestly don’t know how long he tried looking but it felt so long ..
