Considering an IUD

My husband and I are trying to decide what kind of birth control to use and are considering me getting an IUD. Part of our hesitation is getting it and then deciding like 6 months later, for example, that we want to try for a baby. We aren’t certain when we want to start trying. We don’t want to use the pill because when I was on it before, my sex drive dropped really low and it was a bit hard on our relationship. We also aren’t super consistent with condoms. Looking for thoughts & experiences of all kinds. Thanks!
