My baby boy was born yesterday. I’ve noticed that, in the last 12 hours or so, my nipples have become pretty sore (which is normal to some extent, I know); when he latches and sucks, it almost feels like it burns, and when he’s done, it looks like there’s a line on my nipple from how he was sucking. Based on some middle of the night googling, it sounds like it might be a tongue tie or lip tie issue? Has anyone had this problem before, and did you do anything before getting it corrected that helped with the uncomfortable-ness? Thanks!
