How do I tell my friends?

I am so excited and so thankful to be pregnant. But a huge part of my feels incredibly guilty. One of our best friends had a miscarriage recently, two of our friends are trying, and one is doing IVF. I don’t know how to announce when we already have one healthy beautiful toddler who was a happy little accident. And now I’m pregnant on our first time trying. I just know it’s so hard and they’re hurting and I don’t want this to hurt them more. Any advice?

As someone who had miscarriages and friends which had babies in the middle of it all, the worse thing is hiding the news or not include them in your joy. I don’t think it will hurt them, but bring them hope that it IS possible.
Acknowledge them is a sensible way.

My neighbor, who has become my close friend, is on medication to ovulate and has been trying for nearly 5 years to get pregnant. She was actually the first person I told and she thanked me for not keeping that from her. She’s also an amazing person and is always happy for everyone else. She has had friends tell her last to save her feelings and was relieved and actually cried when I told her first. Just evaluate your friendship and ask yourself would they be more hurt to be the last to know bc you spared their feelings.

There’s no reason to hide it! If they are your real friends they will be happy for you!! Just tell them. If you wait so long to tell they will definitely feel some type of way! 😊 I had a miscarriage in February and my best friend found out she was pregnant in May and I was the first one she told. I was so happy for her! Now I’m finally pregnant with my rainbow baby and when I told her she was excited as well! So go ahead and let them know! ❤️

It great you want to be considerate of your friends but you can’t hide it forever. Maybe wait a little longer before announcing so maybe another friend will also be expecting
