Is a 2013 car old?

The average life span of a car is about 8-10 years, and I don’t want to buy something that’ll be expensive to maintain/ fix

Considering my car is 1998 I would say a 2013 is very new 😂😂

Definitely not. Mileage and how well it is maintained is more important than actual age. My car is a 2005 with about 190,000 miles on it. It’s been taken care of really well and I’m thinking I’ll be able to get another few years out of it.

imo yes. but if it runs well and isn't super expensive to maintain, who cares? a car is to get from point a to point b. my first car was from 2012 and my bf's first car was from 1997 LOL. pretty old but both ran just fine and continue to run well w their new owners.

My car is a 2010 I keep good care of it but what you really have to consider is the mileage. If it has low mileage and is well taken care of till now it’s fine. But also how long do you want this car? If you want it for as long as possible I would get a 2018 cuz 2 yrs old makes it much cheaper than 2020 but it’s still like new and will last a long long long time. But 2013/2018 is only 5 yrs it’s not that bad if its been taken care of

I think it also depends on where you live, cause if you’re in a warm climate cars last longer. I’m in Canada and you don’t see a whole lot of vehicles older than that anymore cause the salt used on the roads in winter really does a lot of damage. People keep their nice older cars for summer driving only, for the most part. Our truck is a 2014 and we consider it old...
