Am I being unreasonable?
Hi, I’m looking for some advice if anyone has any. I’m pretty sure I picked one of the most stubborn people alive to have a child with. I have full custody of my son with his dad having visitation every other weekend. This was decided because of his fathers lack of involvement in his life. His mom is usually the one to pick up the slack. She was also the one who made him got to court to get the visitation. We went to court months ago, and since I don’t have a vehicle ( I’m saving so I should be able to purchase one soon) the judge decided that he would pick up and drop off since we live an hour away from each other. His mom just notified me that they had a “meeting “ I wasn’t aware of, and that I have to start meeting them halfway after he turns 2 which is in 1 month. Nothing in our decree states this and her reasoning was because she is tired of doing the drive. Her son recently just got out of jail, barely picks up our son, and rarely pays child support. I’m not an unreasonable person so I understand her frustration, however I find it unreasonable to request I meet halfway, when I don’t have a vehicle. I would meet them of course if I did, but I don’t. Is this unreasonable?
