Traveling to New York

my SO wants to go to New York to visit his dying grandma and for her to meet our baby before she passes but i am so hesitate and scared to go to new york because of covid he think i am being insensitive but i think i much rather not risk the possibility of my baby getting covid also we been together for 10 years i never heard of him talking about her are i never I met her i truly thought she been pass away because that's what he told me years ago

should i go are no 😩.

its a home and i believe she lives in yonkers i never been to new york so idk if that's right also we would be driving
