What to do...

Needing some advice. So our lease it up next month. We were planning to sign another year lease but here’s my dilemma. We’re really wanting our kids to go to school in a town about 25 minutes away from us. It’s in the top 10 best schools and community in our state. We love the town, we really want to move there and we’re planning to buy a house there after our next year lease is up. But, our son will start kindergarten that August and our lease wouldn’t be up tell September. I don’t want to enroll my son into kindergarten which is already going to be a huge adjustment just to take him out and put him in a new one right when he starts getting used to it and makes friends that he’ll never see again. We don’t want him going to the school district we live in. They’re awful schools and I’ve heard nothing good about them. My husband doesn’t want to move right now, which I get, moving is a pain in the ass. And we wouldn’t be able to buy right now, we’d have to rent for about another year. I think that moving is worth him getting to start out to the school we want him to go to for the rest of his schooling. But my husband says “kids move all the time, he’ll be fine”. Which yeah, he’s right. But not 1 month after starting kindergarten! And we’re not sending him to pre k this year, you can probably guess why. So it’s all going to be new. I know “he’ll be fine” if we don’t move right away. But, I’d rather move and do what’s harder on us rather than what would be harder on him. I’m obviously not letting strangers tell me what to do with my life, so please don’t be rude and comment that. I just want to 1, vent. And 2, get unbiased opinions.
