If you're in the US you can look up the most popular baby names on the SSA website, but if you want a more accurate idea of popularity you can look up the lists by state. The name we picked is in the 300s for the US, but I noticed it's actually in the top 50 for a few states! I don't think popularity of names matters as much as years ago because nowadays there are waaay more names that are being used.

It doesn’t matter what you name your baby, after you settle on a name, you’ll see it everywhere lmao I named my daughter Paisley MaKenna because I had NEVER heard it anywhere. The second I signed that birth certificate though, i see it EVERYWHERE. It’s irritating but can’t really be helped😂😂

I like it for a girl more though and THAT is uncommon. Makes a common name uncommon which I love.
