Does anybody have any advice for a very high needs baby? My son is 10 months and pretty much has to be attached to me at all times, and has always been this way. I have a two year old who needs attention too and I need to get other things done as well. He does not play well on his own, he just cries if I’m not sitting right next to him or holding him. I’ve tried baby carriers but I really want to encourage him to play on his own sometimes. He’s teething so I know that’s part of it but he literally always acts like this, even before he was teething. And my first son never acted like this, he’s always been content playing on his own from an early age so I’m stumped.
