35 weeks and 5cm dilated

Hey everyone. I just got out of the hospital on Friday to stop preterm labor. They were able to stop it but now that I’m home and am caring for my 2 year old as well as myself while my husband works, I’m starting to dilate again. I had my 35 week appointment today (will be 35 weeks tomorrow) and I am sitting closer to a 5, almost 80% effaced, and his head is lower than what it was when she checked me on Friday. My question is, has anyone been dilated to a 5 and just sat like that for a while? I sat at a 4 with my daughter for about two weeks but I was about 3 weeks further along with her and then I was induced.. so I’m just curious to see other women’s experiences being this dilated and not in active labor just yet.
