Binge eating in pregnancy
Some days I am just a bottomless pit for a certain food usually sweet stuff like cereal,popcorn/chips/cookies/cake/donuts/caramels and I am talking by the multiple servings... half to entire bags etc. It usually happens about once a week sometimes twice now.
My family and I eat a normal balanced non restrictive diet, animal and plant based, we all enjoy our nutrition, love to cook focus on the importance of balanced proteins carbs and fats, fresh produce etc. i will Even log my food on an app sometimes to ensure I’m reaching 2,000 calories and getting in all of my nutrients and I do almost every time so I know it’s not a deprevation thing. I don’t fight cravings and am able to have a little bit of some things but that one thing comes along and it’s game over, I eat it and it feels like Jesus made the food himself and it just comforts me so deeply and Makes me feel so good to fill up on it until I’m fuller than a pot belly pig 😅
I was at a normal Pre pregnancy weight. I am 22.4 and have gained about 10-12 lbs.
It makes me feel so bad knowing that weight has been purely empty foods that I have delivered my baby in mass quantities of sugar rushes etc. and I just know it cannot be healthy!
Has anyone experienced this? How did you stop?!
