Which one am I?

Question

Sorry I may sound a tad stupid? But I don't believe in God so am I agnostic or atheist? And what is the difference?

There's some debate about terms under the "Agnostic or Atheist" poll (scroll down just a little). 
    
Generally, agnostic means that you doubt there is a god or gods, and atheist means that you're certain that there not is a god or gods. The former affiliation can also be termed agnostic atheist. 
   
Most agnostics and atheists believe in logic, deductive philosophy, and science. Thus, we're fine with admitting we're wrong in the face of valid and reliable/corroborated evidence. 
   
I just go by atheist, because I believe that if I'm agnostic about god, then I'd need to be agnostic about every other supernatural character. But, that's a debate I've already started under the other poll.

I echo Deema - not a stupid question! The terms aren't used with much consistency.

I personally think atheism is often an identification intended to communicate a firm, clear "no" stance about God. Theists offer a firm, clear "yes" stance. Agnostics might (fairly or unfairly) be considered more conflict-avoidant and or neutral in the "yes or no" existence debate, and generally demure to an openness to various possibilities.

If you believe there is a chance of there being a deity, then you are agnostic. If you believe that there is no possible way a deity could exist, you are atheist. I consider myself atheist, because I have done extensive research on anthropology, astronomy, and world religions. I do, however, believe there is the possibility of our souls living as every after we die (paranormal beings), but I don't relate that to religion.

Not a stupid question at all. A lot of people don't know what the terms mean, and the words have been misused by the mainstream media anyway. Here's how I've heard it explained numerous times on The Atheist Experience:
Theism is about belief, Gnosticism is about knowledge. So you can be a 
1. Agnostic Atheist (someone who doesn't know if gods exist + doesn't believe gods exist)
2. Gnostic Atheist (someone who knows gods don't exist + doesn't believe)
3. Agnostic Theist (someone who doesn't know if gods exist but believes anyway)
4. Gnostic Theist (someone who knows gods exist and believes) 
In the US, the overwhelming majority of people who identify as atheists... including myself...are agnostic atheists because we don't believe gods exist due to lack of evidence but are honest and say we can't know for sure. Some people say this is "soft atheism" and #2 is "hard atheism" but that's rarely used. I'm fine saying I'm an atheist despite how looked down on we are in my country, so I never call myself an agnostic since the term basically means #3 as most people use it.
