Misdiagnosed miscarriage?

Went to the doctor two weeks ago, they said it didnt look like a normal pregnancy they said in my ultrasound it looked like the embryo was breaking down. They told me if i started bleeding or cramping to call them. Well its been almost 3 weeks and nothing, not cramping or bleeding. My boobs are sore more then ever, my headaches are intense, my nausea has increased. I was supposed to go back for another ultrasound but i was so upset i cancelled because i figured why go back just to get the same news? Just conflicted over the entire thing. I called another doctors office and they cant get me in till September. Is my body confused or what?

Call back the original office and let them know you still haven't had any signs of miscarriage. A threatened miscarriage still means there's a possibility of survival. That's why they scheduled you to come back. Because until it happens it's not over. I know you're scared. But you need to be seen. 💗 With our 3rd son I was told to expect a miscarriage based off of hcg blood draws alone. He will be 2 on Sep 28th.

There is something called a missed miscarriage. I had one. Discovered at 9 weeks, but baby stopped growing at 7.5 weeks. I definitely still felt very pregnant and my abdomen was even still growing (he confirmed my uterus was still growing even though baby wasn't). Had increased nausea etc. Your pregnancy hormones can still be strong even though baby is no longer alive and growing. I wouldn't wait until September, because if you wait too long, you can get an infection and it can cause infertility and be dangerous to you. I would only wait a maximum of two weeks and then go back for a 2nd scan. From there, you can decide on a d&c or pills, or wait one more week or so for the miscarriage to start naturally. Or, if they made a mistake, by then they'll be able to see a heartbeat on that 2nd ultrasound  and you'll know for sure, regardless of which dr you go to. Good luck!

You need to call and tell them what’s going on and they need to see you sooner. Or see if just the ultrasound can be rescheduled

It could have been a missed miscarriage hopefully not and everything is well but you need to get in ASAP if it’s a missed miscarriage you’ll need meds or surgery to pass the embryo. I’m sorry you’re going through this wish you the best but def call around and get in ASAP.

Were you told it was a threatened miscarriage or an actual miscarriage? If they said threatened miscarriage, it means you were not having a miscarriage at the time but it was possible that you could have one based off tests. I had a friend who had a threatened miscarriage and she went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I also was told I was having a threatened miscarriage, but I unfortunately did have one. 
Each body is different. Have you been in to get your hcg levels tested? that would be a quick lab test. Those would be able to tell you if your pregnancy is progressing as it should be.
