Anatomy scan??😢

So I had my anatomy scan today at 20 weeks exactly and I have to go back at 32 weeks bc they couldn’t get a good view of the heart and lips. I understand this happens a lot but there was a clear view of the face but there are no lips? Should I be worried? With my first they got everything they needed the first time. Also I thought if there were complications of seeing the baby I go back soon to try again but I have to wait until 32 weeks? Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried?

I had the same issue at 20 week scan; sonographer couldn’t see lips and also couldn’t see the heart properly so I was asked to come back. I was really scared and worried between appointments but my baby is just always in awkward positions! I don’t know why so long between scans, maybe ring and see if they can move it forward, maybe the hospital is crazy busy?

I went at 20 weeks and wanted me to go back to do some more measurements, but at 24 weeks. Wonder why so long.

I went in for my anatomy scan yesterday at 21weeks and they could get some measurements but not all because baby was moving too much and not at all in the right spots for the tech. I’ll be getting seen again when I’m 25 weeks almost 26. They told me it is perfectly normal to have to come back later to be able to view everything. They probably also want to give baby time to develop so seeing those features becomes easier even if baby is stubborn.

I had my 20 week scan and will be going back at 23 weeks to finish because the baby wouldn’t flip for the technician to measure her whole heart. I’m actually glad it worked out this way so I can see her again!
I’d ask them to pull it ahead from 32 weeks..

I had to have two anatomy scans with my son last year. He’s perfectly healthy. It happens sometimes
