How to try a butt plug?

I bought a small butt plug today and I’m really excited I use it but I’ve never used anything like this before, any tips for a first timer, how to stay relaxed? 😂 thanks!

I haven't tried it personally, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
I would assume that lube is going to be your best friend. Being adequately turned on will probably be a huge help too as far as keeping your muscles relaxed. Just go slow, listen to your body, and of course make sure you're only use anal toys with a flared base (though you probably knew that already 😂)
I'd look into information about cleaning prior to doing any kind of anal play as well. I know some people say just using the bathroom before hand is more than enough, others say you need to douche, etc. I don't have very good advice on that one, nor do I know if there's a difference between how you should clean for anal sex vs just a butt plug. I would guess just having a good diet and a bowel movement beforehand would be fine, but again, do your research!
