Allergic reaction to ranch?

My son will be one year next week. Today at lunch he had ranch with his food and he got a reaction on his face.. he’s had ranch several times before AND eggs. Idk why this could be?

Contact reaction. My daughter has a severe peanut allergy but contact reacts to salad dressings, maple syrup, cinnamon etc
Wash with a cool cloth and it’ll clear up on its own

You might have a better option taking him to the doctor they can find out what he’s allergic too or what caused him to break out like that

My son had a reaction to ranch the first time he had it. He also had a reaction the other day, not sure to what exactly. It was gone shortly after I washed his face. I haven’t given him ranch since the first time but I heard it’s common for some reason. He hasn’t had any reactions to anything but ranch and whatever it was he ate the other day. It was all stuff he’s had several times before.

THIS SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER! They suggested we get her allergy tested which we will when all this pandemic stuff settles down. 
She has had ranch on multiple occasions with no reaction. I tried a new ranch dressing and she had almost the same reaction as in your picture. The doctor suggested that it was an obscure spice and not a main ingredient.

My son just had a crazy allergic reaction recently where I had to rush him to the ER. The last thing he ate was eggs which he has eaten a handful of times before. I believe they can develop reactions to things they’ve tried prior. We are waiting on a call from an allergen specialist to get testing done.
I hope your little ones reaction wasn’t too severe and you guys are able to get some answers soon, I know it sucks!!

My son used to break out like this after ranch too.   Just wipe his face clean immediately after.  It goes away within an hour.  Its not a allergy. Its just the skin reacting to the contact of the ranch

My oldest is allergic to ranch dressing. She has no other food allergies but for some reason ranch dressing she will swell severely and if she comes into contact with it she will blister every place it touches her. She was sent to a specialist and had had allergy testing with no explanation. She is almost 6 and we have just learned to avoid ranch all together in our home.
