My baby girl will be 1 in a little over a week. She is learning to walk, but still gets around mostly by crawling. She will sometimes get little bruises on her shins and forearms. Which I assume is just because she likes to crawl over her toys and such.

She currently has 2 small greenish bruises on her left shin.

Yesterday my sister in law was playing with her and said “aw baby, where did you get these bruises from?” And then came up to me and said “I just wanted to let you know I noticed some bruises on her leg”

My question is, is it normal for crawling babies to get bruises on their shins/elbows?

It made me uncomfortable the way she acted like my baby was hurt or something.
