Car seats?

I’d like to find a car seat that is like one of those 4 in 1, those are easy enough to find. But the catch is I’d also like one that can be carried so I don’t have to remove baby, do they exist lol? I just can’t imagine trying to move an infant back and forth into a car seat and then into a carrier on me, or into an additional carrier that would have to be bought in the middle of winter time. I think it’s goofy that that I can either only buy a car seat that’s 4 in 1 and isn’t supposed to be removed from the car, or buy a car seat that can be carried for only a short period of time until I’ll have to buy another car seat.

This one is an infant carrier and then converts to a rear facing seat so it’s a little like what you’re looking for and a bit longer use but a 4 in 1 detachable seat doesn’t exist yet

This is the one I have and I love it so far. The car seat clicks right into the stroller so I never have to take the baby out. I strap him in, click him into the base and click the seat right into the stroller. My husband has a base in his car too so we just use the one seat and don’t have a need for each car to have it’s own car seat. It’s a little pricey but I think it’s well worth it.

Unfortunately a car seat like that doesn’t exist. Infant carriers (the one that easily clicks in and out of your car) are only safe up to a certain weight limit, usually around 30lbs+/-. We used our infant seat for only 6 months before we decided my son would be more comfortable in a convertible car seat, like the 4 in 1 you mentioned. Most convertible car seats can be used from birth, but some of them have a higher weight minimum so you have to check. Quite honestly, if it were me buying my first car seat during COVID I would skip the infant seat and just buy a really nice convertible car seat that can be used from birth since you most likely won’t use the carrier much. I can count the number of times we’ve used our car seat since March on one hand because we’re quarantining and not taking our son to any stores in order to keep him safe. We have the Nuna Rava and love it.

No they don't exist! 
I never took used the infant car seat other than in the car, but used a bassinet on the stroller. Way easier to ensure that baby was warm and cosy through the winter.
