Which name?

My SIL is due to have a baby girl, who they are naming Emma, this week! We’re due in December with a little girl! 
I also have an 11-year-old niece named Emily. 
We love the name Amelia but my husband thinks it’s kind of similar to Emma and Emily. 
Nylah is a name we’ve had on our list for a while now and he thinks it’s a pretty name BUT now he thinks it sounds too much like nylon 🙄

I don’t think they’re too close for cousins :) Besides Emma and Emily are much closer.

I think Amelia is different enough. I wouldn’t even put those as similar in my mind. I agree with the other comment, Emma and Emily are way more similar.

Forgive me, but I agree with your husband that it sounds too much like nylon 😬 
I think Amelia is a beautiful name though, definitely not too close to Emma or Emily! And the bonus of naming her Amelia (rather than the other name) is she should have no issues in the future with people misspelling or mispronouncing her name. 
I have a somewhat uncommon name (it’s the Italian version of an American name, literally just one letter different) & it drives me crazy how often people get it wrong.
