Does her belly button look normal?

My daughter will be 1 month in a week. Her umbilical cord has been falling off in segments since about 2 weeks ago. It seems like it’s almost all gone, but it’s all bubbled out almost like in a tube shape... is this normal? Should I mention it to her dr? Does it look herniated?

She’s probably gonna have an outtie for a belly button. Doesn’t look like an hernia to me.

My mom says she used to tape a coin to it to keep it down. Old school but it worked I have no outtie and not even when I got pregnant.

Umbilical hernias that I’ve seen on babies are way bigger than that. Almost like they have a large marble or golf ball poking up from their abdomen beside their belly button. I think it’s still just healing and settling into shape. She might have a sort of outtie!
