Baby clothing shopping?

Claudia

Since I won’t be having a baby shower I am starting to buy baby clothes on my own, but I’m kind of at a lost as to how much clothing to buy of each size. I want to stock up on newborn- 6 month clothing to the point where I feel like I won’t be needing to buy any extra (maybe a cute outfit here and there). With my daughter she stayed in newborn for almost a month and then after that she was pretty petite and always wore the size for the actual age that she was (ex. She wore 3 month clothing when she was 3 months, and etc.) I remember I was not stocked up at all on newborn and even had to buy her extra but right now with COVID I do not want to be shopping around post-partum and with a newborn. Are you guys going off of any list as to how many clothing to buy of each size? The ones I keep finding seem to be like a minimalist type of list or people who do laundry everyday, which I only do laundry for each of us once a week (sooner if needed). With all the spit up, poop explosions, milk getting every where or simply just needing their daily clothes of change I feel like some of these lists are pretty small. I remember having to change my daughter sometimes even up to 3-4 times a day! Please if anyone has found a good complete reasonable list, can you guys share with me?
