When did you know it was over?

My boyfriend at the time (of 6 years) and I were sitting at our kitchen table. We had been going through another fight and were sitting in silence. I took the vase of dead flowers he had given me over the course of our relationship, and threw them in the trash right in front of him, and he didn’t care. That’s when I knew he was falling out of love with me, and there’s was no fighting for it anymore. Few weeks later he cheated on me, and that was it.
