Urgent opinion needed

So my almost 10mo has been struggling with constipation of some degree for a couple of months the dr doesnt seem concerned and said give milk of magnesia for the constipation after juice and prunes did nothing. Well after another month he will not poop unless we give milk of magnesia. I have been trying to cut back and he got constipated and had a bloody hard stool. I called the dr and they dont even want to see him. All they said was give him more milk of magnesia and only bring him in if he doesnt poop. Would you get a second opinion?

I am trying not to over react but a baby not pooping without being forced is not normal. He eats a healthy diet with no common causes of constipation so I would say its abnormal
