So my baby boy has been measuring big since 16 weeks and yesterday the doctors finally realized that it's just genes and not because of gestational diabetes or anything. They kept scaring me with GB but after both hour and 3 hour test came back negative, they are finally letting me breathe easier. He's a healthy big baby! The problem now is that I'm 36+2 weeks and he's measuring 38+3 I believe. They're doing a final growth scan next monday at 37 weeks to see how long and tall he's estimated to be and from there they'll decide whether to induce so I can push or if I'll have a Csection. There's a lot of information on the procedure of Csection and recovery time online. But info on induction just seems to vague to me. I understand they inject you to bring the onset of labor, but most of these articles say it works for some and not for others. And then in other articles it says a failed induction leads to emergency Csection which can cause distress in the newborn. Does anyone have any experience with Induction? How is the procedure? At how many weeks did they do it and did it work? Thank you all in advance. :)
