Will I upset my newborn’s stomach

If I switch from breast milk to formula. She’s 4 days old. I tried pumping but it’s not for me it’s taking a huge mental toll on me

no you won't upset your lo stomach i formula feed and breast-feed only way you wil upsets the babies stomach is if they are lactose sensitive or has a allergy￼￼￼￼ and you need a special type of formula like my lo ￼

It might a little bit. If you can transition to formula by mixing it ith breast milk and increasing the amount of formula you should be fine

We transition med at 1ish months it was so draining mentally and emotionally for me... but we started w duing bf during the day and formula at night. We then kept the morning bf and the rest was formula. We are now close to 5 months of formula

i had to do this as well after 6 weeks. it took such a huge toll on my body and my mental health. my mom got me a can of formula from her work (whole foods) and yes you don’t have to buy organic formula, my son has absolutely loved it though. my neighbors son didn’t like formula and she ended up giving me her leftover boxes and it’s a brand from the uk, but the switch in those (they’re both competing brands i guess) wasn’t bad on his stomach either. i never cancelled my amazon subscription for his formula, so i just give it to him at night now. he’s 14 months

I had to do this after 7 days. My milk never came in. Her tummy was fine. It did take us a month to realize she needed sensitive stomach formula. She’s now a healthy happy 9month old
