I hate it when I have someone over for a group project or just to hangout and they suddenly start acting different and say “omg, your house is so big!!! is your room big? I bet you have like a queen size bed. how big is your closet? You probably have your own bathroom too like wow 👁👄👁”

And I’m just like “✨thanks, my mom inherited it from my dying grandma, and after she died without a legitimate will, that entire side of the family started trying to kick us out and sometimes even steal my stuff claiming it was my grandmas, and I can’t even have any of them over for anything because they’re at each other’s throats fighting over who deserves the house more.✨”

Like bitch, don’t start acting like I’m rich and hinting that I should buy you shit once you see my house, cause I’m not rich. My parents aren’t poor but the only money I can spend is money I earned myself mowing other peoples lawns and shoveling snow, or in birthday cards because my parents say living is my allowance for cleaning every room in the house and I’m not allowed to have a job that isn’t working 11 hour shifts in the nursing home that my dead grandma used to own and is currently falling apart due to COVID and having no legitimate owner...
