How true is this ?? Old wives tale

I’ve read on a few articles if the baby has a high heart rate and you experience nausea it’s a girl. And if baby has heart rate under 140, and no nausea it’s a boy. This is my first pregnancy... how true is this ??

It was false for me im pregnant with my second son and his heart rate has been between 154- 160 bpm and ive been throwing up everyday since 6 weeks, with my first son his heart rate was 140 and never got sick xx

My baby boys heart rate yesterday at the appointment was 143bpm and 3 weeks ago was 148bpm so I would say it’s not true .

Definitely false. I had less nausea with girls and lower heart rates. Was throwing up 13x a day with my boy and higher heart rate.

No not true, just a wives tale. My first pregnancy I had a girl, her heart rate at first was 173. But I had absolutely no nausea. My sister in law, her first heart rate for her baby was 176, and she’s had nausea through the entire pregnancy and she’s having a boy. Heart rate I believe is based on activity. Plus it’s always high at first then lowers

old wives tales are just for fun. you could make any one up and it would be a 50/50 chance of being right. HR, placement, day of sex prior or after ovulation, sex position, the baking soda “test” are all myths/not relevant to gender
