Covid affecting period?

So I’ve had Covid twice...the second time I got it on my period in June..I tested negative a week and a half later. I’m on birth control. The next period I got my period a week late. Negative pregnancy test. I was in a lot of pain where my left ovary/rectum? is but the vaginal sonogram showed nothing in my ovaries or uterus. The gyn sent me for a catscan cause she suspected an issue somewhere else but that showed nothing. The first week or two of this period was mainly spotting but the the 3rd week got heavy. It finally went away Saturday but I spotted brown on Monday and today it’s pink again. I’m getting bloodwork done today but I wanted to know if anyone has gone thru something similar. I’m 25 and sexually active. I’ve been on birth control for like 10 years. Never had this problem before.
