Phase or not?

My 9 month old has gotten to the point where if we don’t give him what he wants he throws a tantrum. He will throw himself around, scream, and cry until he gets what he wants. Is this a phase or is this the start of the toddler phase (I know he’s not a toddler yet) and will continue until he’s not a toddler?

My son experienced something similar coming up to 1 years of age. It was a phase and it passed. Then he hit terrible 2s early and he just turned 2 a couple of days ago. They are learning about emotions and boundaries and dos and donts. Just stay consistent. Ignore the tantrums, let them show their emotions and let them try to express their frustration then be there for them once they've calmed down. Reward good behaviour. Instead of saying no to something just explain why you've said no. They might be young but being consistent and explaining these things to them from a young age will help later on. When my son used to do things I would say "please don't do that because of this.." - "instead of doing that could you do this instead" and so on.

Sounds early for it just stick to ur word. Dont give in 9 months or not they arent stupid. The more u spoil give in to the temper tantrum the more he will act out the older he gets. They say best thing is to ignore them
