1st ultra sound

At my last appointment, I was 11 weeks. They searched for the heartbeat, and we heard it for a few seconds, but then the baby moved I guess. I am so sad that I didn't get an ultra sound. I won't have my 1st ultra sound until I am 15 weeks along. Is anyone else having to wait this long? I'm a worrier, and just want to make sure everything is okay. But now I have to wait another month. :(
