Weening off the breast

My son is only 5 months and I am still determined to breastfeed until he is 1. I'm a sahm so it's easy and convenient to nurse anytime he is hungry, but he does take a bottle on occasion. My husband likes to give him a bottle before bed or sometimes through the day, to "feel less useless". His words not mine. Anywho.. I'm thinking about later on when it's time to start weening off nursing completely. Since he already takes a bottle at times should I just start using bottles more throughout the day until he's done with the boob? It seems easy enough but I know to never believe that haha I want to start with sippy cups soon as well but still nurse as much as I can. What's your advice ladies? Like I said, I want to keep primarily nursing throughout the next 7 months but I'm hoping for a semi easy transition from boob to cup!
