How have you seen God's hand in your life?

My son gave me a really rough night last night so I'd like to hear some uplifting stories to brighten my day and lift my spirits. Tell me a story as detailed or vague as you feel comfortable sharing about a time you experienced God's hand in your life! ♥️
For me, when I was applying to colleges I applied to 3 different schools. I prayed and asked that I would be sent to the right school for me. I told God I wanted to go to school #1, but that I would go wherever He wanted me to go. I didn't get into school #1 or school #3 so I went to school #2 and met my husband the very first day. 😊

I was 18 years old and had been played for the umpteen time by a guy that I thought might kinda sorta be the one. I sat outside in the dark praying for God to send me a husband because I wanted to be loved. Well, what i didn't know is that whenever you pray for something you have to test the things that come your way because satan will send a mock promise your way as a means to hinder you. So three months later I met what appeared to be the best man ever. But he was a weapon formed against me. He was toxic, abusive and broken.  But because I wanted so badly to be loved I cleaved to him. I eventually married him.  My idolatry eventually forced me to turn to God for that love and peace that I so badly wanted and needed! When I submitted myself to God, he healed and delivered my husband.  He fixed my marriage. And I have love, joy, and peace from God that helps me to discern real love from fake love from others. I got to witness my husband be transformed by God.

It's longer than this, but in 2018, my MIL's breast cancer came back. I was also expecting my first baby. In May, when I was 38 weeks, she passed away. 2 days later, my baby was born. It was so hard on us to grieve and to celebrate. Then 2 weeks later, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Again, we were grieving. We were told that he'd need to go through extensive treatment and a stem cell transplant that most likely would render him sterile. So we were trying to get through all this together, trying to accept the fact that we may never have more kids, and who knew how long he had to live. The timing was unfair as we'd also just lost his mom to cancer. Well, we sought second opinions while we prayed and prayed God's will. Over months, we learned the cancer was gone and he was in stringent complete remission, and he didn't need the stem cell transplant. With that news, we also learned there could be a possibility for another child, but he had to be off his treatment for 3 months before trying. So around when my daughter was 10 months, we were able to start trying. It took 5 cycles, but we conceived our second babe! She was due in April 2020, but just as the pandemic hit in March, my body decided it was time for her to come at 33 weeks. My water broke pre-labor and I had her prematurely at 34 weeks. She was in the nicu for 2 weeks during quarantine, and we were all alone. But I knew God was strengthening us every day as we went up to see her. The lord provided someone to watch our toddler during that time. She's now home and a happy, healthy 5 month old! Also, my husband was supposed to go back on treatment after she was born, but he was doing so well without treatment they allowed he to stay off. It's crazy when I look back and remember how I thought my life was over with all the cancer in our lives, but the miracles he provided, even in the midst of this pandemic, were just reminders that he's still here with us.

My best friend at the time & I were in a really bad car accident, ended up flipping the car 5 times total & landed on the roof ab 10 ft from a propane tank and ab 20 ft from a house. The EMT said he was completely shocked we walked out of that accident not severely injured or dead. The entire time we were flipping i was literally praying to god saying over & over “please don’t let us die please don’t let us die” & when we landed I felt the biggest sigh of relief. It was actually incredibly strange I have severe anxiety and while my friend was still having an anxiety attack I was 100% calm not scared at ALL. The officers and EMTs were baffled at how relaxed I was given the circumstances. I was too!

I have written chapters on it (I published a book), but to summarize: the fact that I am okay and am able to enjoy life after unexpectedly losing my husband at 29 years old with a 6 month old baby.

I had 2 miscarriages prior to having my 1st born. Everything was going good in my pregnancy until i was 20 weeks and they told me my cervix was short. I had weekly checkups and ultrasounds and my cervix kept getting smaller. At my 24 week appointment i was sent to the hospital to be monitored the rest of my pregnancy. I ended up delivering my son at 26 weeks and 4 days. It was the hardest thing to do. I was in shock it all happened so fast but God always had control. My son was in the NICU for almost 3 months but only to feed and grow. No surgeries nor complications. God knew my husband and i wanted a baby and we did get him. With our son i. The NICU it not only brought my husband and i closer together but we were literally living by faith. That God would allow this child to grow healthy and strong. Fast forward now and my son is going to turn 3 years old in november and he is a healthy and very active boy. God moves in mysterious way and i have learned to not doubt nor question the way His plans work. Its not on our time but His perfect timing!

I love these uplifting stories! Mine is just a small one during my current (& first) pregnancy:
I woke up in the middle of the night two weeks ago with what felt like food poisoning. I was doubled over in pain, laying on the cold bathroom floor for about 20 minutes, hoping whatever needed to come out would finally do so! I even got to the point of thinking I needed to go to the ER (rare for me).
As I was lying there, I was praying to God. I said “if this is a part of your plan, let it be. If the pregnancy is ending, if I’m very ill, or if this is just a fluke and everything will be fine- no matter what it is, I trust you and am thankful for the journey, despite the pain. Please just watch over me and lend me your strength to get through this”. I’m not even kidding you, seconds later I felt the sickness/pain starting to slowly subside, and I knew I was going to be okay. It was incredibly emotional for me to feel so close to God in that moment. And now I know whatever comes my way, He has prepared me for it 😊

Literally from a baby. I was adopted from China at 8 months old. My birth parents surrendered me to a police station in China and I was taken to an orphanage before I was adopted. My parents were actually the second group of American parents to go over to adopt in China! 
My life has been so blessed ever since then. My parents are wonderful, encouraging and have given me a life I never would have had otherwise.

I have so many. One that stands out to me is when I was 18. I wanted to go to prom, but my mom didn’t have the money to send me. I had nothing. I prayed to God one night. I said, “Lord, I really want to go to prom. If you don’t want me to go, I won’t go, but if you don’t mind, please put it on someone’s heart to bless me so I can go. I’m not picky about the dress, but I’d prefer a burnt orange dress.” I left it like that and went to sleep. Woke up, went to school, and my friend said she asked the assistant principal to buy me a prom ticket, and the assistant principal agreed. I was happy, but still didn’t have a dress or anything... 
Later that night, my niece and I rode with my brother somewhere. When we got back, my mom said, “Guess what!” She said that my sister called her friend to see if she had any extra dresses and before my sister could say anything, her friend said, “I already know. Jasmine needs a dress. I have two. Come get them.”
And one of the dresses was burnt orange!!!! 
I cannot make this up!!! I knew right then that God hears my prayers and cares!!! He’s continued to blow my mind ever since!!!
I was able to go to prom in a burnt orange dress, and I looked good!!!

I have so many. My biggest sign (that I can recall- bc who knows how many other things has been done that I have failed to recognize?) of God’s goodness occurred when we were TTC baby no. 1. After 3 years my specialist told us it was not likely to happen on our own. But before that final appointment with that bad news, we saw a car license plate that said, “God is Able”. Seeing that set my heart in the right place to hear bad news. As we left that appointment, I told my husband-“God is good” and I looked for medical advice elsewhere. The next month we conceived our son. 
Even sweeter- we decided to give our son a middle name from my mother’s tribe. Loosely translated to English it means “well made by God.” After a mid pregnancy scare we revealed the name to my mother so she could keep our baby in her prayers. She shocked us with a wonderful story about her courageous uncle who was jailed and persecuted for building a church in his village. His boldness helped launch a community of faith where he lived. He happened to share a similar variant of our son’s uncommon name! My mother was blessed by our choice and we were too- all from what we thought was a randomly picked beautiful name. Little did we know that God was all about the details in bringing forth our son! God did so much to show us we can trust Him.

Here is a bit of my parents story and my childhood. My parents got married young after my mom got pregnant. My dad hated the church because of how they reacted to my mom being pregnant before marriage. My mom continued to go to church. My dad was bipolar and had a lot of issues. He lost his job in 2008 when the economy crashed and was with out a job for a year. This caused him to have time to go to church. He was healed of his bipolar and I watched my dad become a man of god. A few years later they were still fighting with the bank even tho they had been paying for a long time. We finally lost for sure and our house was going into foreclosure. Amazingly god made a way and we signed the papers for an investor to rebuy our house the day we were supposed to be moved out. Then a year later my dad was in school (going back to collage) and he really did not want to skip class because it is a grade point drop. He ended up skipping and we went to a meeting where some missionaries were speaking about what they were doing. Over a 100 people and 15 prizes. Our family of 4 all got one and my dad got scholarship money toward a trip. God smacked us with a 2x4 and we were going to Africa. My parents still were not on there feet financially and everyone though they were insane to spend xx,xxx on a trip. God once again opened doors and we went. I just look back in amazement. My life could be completely different and God opened so many doors. I just find my moms faith through everything amazing. To have seen my dad before and after knowing christ, just wow. God is good.
