First period after IUD removal

I had my Marina IUD removed at the end of June and had some complications while having it removed so i bleed for like a day or two.

Then September 1st rules around and i get my period. First two days were like normal but the last couple have been a nightmare. Super heavy, huge clots, terrible cramps. Has anyone else experienced this?

The whole reason i got the iud is bc my periods are so terrible but i was hoping it wouldn’t be this bad after the fact.
