Period before Placebo Week

During week 2 of my birth control I forgot to take Monday and Tuesdays pill so I took both on Wednesday and then took Wednesday and Thursdays on Thursday so I was back on track. On Wednesday I started to get my period, very lightly but now it’s Sunday and I’m suppose to start week 3 and I still have my period but it’s getting a bit heavier where I need to wear a tampon. Should I just keep taking the pills like normal and get my period next week or Instead of starting week 3 pills today should i just start weeks 4 placebo pills today have my period and then next Sunday start a new pack? Typically if i miss a day or two and start to get a very light period and then catch up the period will go away but it’s not this time.
