What to put on a burn.

What should i put on my 1 year old (if anything)? 🥺🥺🥺

Get a fresh aloe plant leaf (NOT THE GEL) to put it on the burn. 
Wash with a dial antibacterial soap to prevent infection. 
Cut the plant into small pieces and in half, rub the inside part on the burn. 
You can put the rest of the pieces in the fridge. Feel so much better when it’s cold
Do this until the burn is healed.

If you can find this at Walmart... it’s what they give you in the hospital for burn patients. It works well... and good to have in case of other burns. It’s better than aquaphor and neosporin. It’s not greasy or oily. It dries like a cream... I’m sure there are smaller tubes of it... but this is also what I used in the hospital and after when I got sent home. All you need is a thin layer.
Put it on after you rub the aloe and let that dry.

Do not put anything oil based on that burn!!! Neosporin is oil based and will trap the heat and continue to burn. Do not do it!

Neosporin will be fine now that it’s already a day old.  It’ll protect it from infection and the oil based aspect won’t hurt it at this stage

I would put Aquaphor on it. That's what I put on my 3rd degree burn.
