I’m Looking to get the copper iud (if i can i don’t know how old you have to be in my state or if you need to be a certain age) but if i do how often do you need to check for the strings and how long do you need to do that for? i have long acrylic nails and i’m definitely not willing to give them up would it be okay if i had my boyfriend check for me? (as in safe) and can you guys share your experiences on the copper iud with me (i can’t stand the hormonal birth control anymore it has changed me soo much)
