Having a slim baby
My daughter is 7 months. She’s always been long, but at her recent appointment they said she’s 98th percentile for length. She was having some weight gain issues, but she improved drastically. She went from 30th percentile to 60th percentile in about a month. She is still slim obviously because she is so long. I almost feel like her drs and nurses try to make us feel bad that she’s not chunky. They make comments “far from chunky but your parents should be able to get you there.” Idk maybe I’m reading too much into what they say.
I feel like it’s hard to make a baby in the 98th percentile for length chunky. Should I feel bad my baby is on the slimmer side? She’s almost 18 pounds at almost 7 months.
