Has anyone had a repeat c section?

How was your experience different from your first?

I had an emergency c section with my first 4 years ago. My doctor said a repeat c section was best option for me.

Its been almost 2 weeks and I feel like my recovery is taking way longer this time. Although I know it takes 6 weeks to recover, with my first baby I was already able to walk, laugh, and cook compared to now, im only in my room, try not to walk too much especially not too fast because ill be in pain.

Is this normal for a second c section to take longer ?
