What would you recommend getting to have right away for baby? Working on registry and getting basics. What do you recommend? What do you swear by?

These swaddles were a lifesaver. I also liked the Boppy newborn lounger to have a safe comfortable spot to put the baby down next to me on the couch or even on our kitchen island as I was cooking. If you’re planning on breastfeeding you’ll need some nipple cream (Motherlove or Earth Mama brands), and some nipple pads for leaking. A comfortable bra to sleep in and some loose pajamas with a soft comfortable robe. For baby I like the sleeper gowns that are open on the bottom for super easy diaper changes. I also recommend having a changing pad that’s on a dresser or somewhere high enough so you don’t have to bend over too much. Your back will thank you. Some pack n plays even come with a removable changing station so that would work.

Any zip up sleepers! Way easier when you’re half awake and/or sleep deprived then the snaps. Also, Velcro swaddles have saved me with my almost 2 week old.
