When to switch nipples on bottles or get new bottles?

My baby turned 2 months old on the 9th but my question is when do you switch from newborn nipples to older ones? How Do you know you need to change ? My daughter still seems to do fine with the newborn bottles we been using since I stopped breastfeeding at 5-6wks

My babies got super angry at their bottles when it was time to go up a size. Switched sizes and they were totally happy again.

When my son was often falling asleep during feedings I tried the next nipple, as long as he didn’t gag I switched. You can google recommended ages for your kind of bottles too.

I knew it was time to change bottle nipples when my baby was taking forever and ever  to finish her bottles and she was getting really distracted as she was drinking. For reference we use Dr browns bottles, level 2 nipples through the day and level 3 for her last bottle of the day (because she was getting crazy distracted while drinking that one). My daughter is 8 months old today.
