Tampon Postpartum

Hi ladies I’m 11 weeks postpartum and had my period for the second time. I used a tampon for the first time yesterday and I’m not sure if I put it in wrong but I only had it in for 2 hours and then took it out before bed and used a pad. Today when I peed I had a stinging inside my labia, though it feels like it may be in the same spot where I tore. I had a small tear near my pee hole and was told it was good when I had my 6 week appointment. I’m wondering if anyone has had this problem or if it might a re tear from where I initially tore
