Genital Warts

While I was pregnant I had genital warts (not sure which strain) to appear back sometime in May and I had our daughter in July. I had high risk hpv test done during pregnancy and it was negative. I know things like this can remain dormant and in pregnancy your immune system is compromised. I have only been with my husband for the last 11 years and only been with 3 other guys. I don't know where or when it was passed to me. My husband and I can't have sex until its cleared up. My OB-GYN will not do anything until I get my other skin condition taken care of. I know it can be taken care of but it has me upset. I just want it gone just like my hidradenitis suppurativa. How else would I have gotten it? What has your doctor done to get rid of them? How long did it take to go away? How long did you wait to have sex again? Thanks.
