Is is okay to haggle ask for a different price for something?

Especially if buying multiple items

This woman offered me .50 for this eye-shadow pallet all busted broken I said how bought .25 cents its missing half she snatched it said I sell it to a neighbor for $1

I was already buying $20 of stuff she actually stole $1 from me. Extra and she was angry upset about the eye-shadow. I didn't offer less for any of the other stuff.

Why do people get like that, I didn't like it want it so what.

For a garage sale $20 is a lot most people spend $1 she's a neighbor I bought from her to do a favor I can't believe she's so grouchy.

Do you guys think I should just avoid her
