molested by a family member

So after 9 years I finally told my SO I was molested by my cousin when I was younger. I was telling him because recently my mom and brother (who don’t know ) keeps bringing up this cousin and mentioning how he has a kid now and was saying they wanted to invite him to Vegas when we go out there in Nov.

I told my SO I didn’t wanna go and that’s when I told him. He didn’t seem to really care, all he said was “I never heard this story” and continued strolling on his phone then he said isn’t that the cousin I met and you were nice to him last time. I told him yeah because it was at an family event years ago and I didn’t want anyone to know but I don’t ever see that cousin, but now I’m constantly hearing about him and it’s making me feel uncomfortable.

I feel so uncomfortable right now too because we’re both in bed, here’s on his phone and I’m typing this and he’s not saying anything.

I wish I would’ve kept this to myself like I have been.
