Question

So I am planning on breastfeeding BUT I know sometimes it does not go to plan. What do you all recommend as a backup formula chock full of nutrients? There just sooooo many on the market.

Enspire is about the closest to breastmilk. 
BUT BUT BUT!!! Huge suggestion!!!!!
If you are really wanting to breastfeed and really are going to be committed to it. Do not have formula on hand!!!! Reason why, is cause your post partum mind when it’s a hard time will say “oh I’ll just give formula”. The more you give formula the more your supply will decrease. 
Breastfeeding takes commitment, determination and a positive can do attitude. Biggest this is...dont quit on a bad day! That’s the #1 rule.

This was my favorite or should I say my sons favorite! He had reflux and this was the only formula out of 5 that worked for him! Never any issues with bowel movement eithe. I liked it because it was the closest to breastmilk formula so it was a good transition from breastfeeding

We used Similac pro advance. I really wanted to use Hipp or Holle but they aren't sold in the states. I was worried I wouldn't order the can in time and I would be left without formula so I decided to use formula that I could easily get at any store. We never had any issues using this brand

I used this when we came home from the hospital after my stash of breast milk was gone , and I ran out and gave my baby enfamil he was spitting up way more and threw up. I think it did not sit right w his tummy. Decided to switch him back to Similac and we haven’t had any problems since !

If you sign up with Similac, they’ll send a sample of 3 types of formula. I believe Enfamil will do the same. We were able to determine which worked best for our son before purchasing any. He was super constipated on Enfamil and had a reaction to the purple Similac but he did great on the gold one.
