help !!

I’ll be 38 weeks tomorrow. boyfriend was physically abusive with me 2 days ago & left marks on my neck. his mom told me that if i felt attacked or scared then I should’ve called the cops. Basically, she’s telling me that what he did is okay because I didn’t call them. Anyway I left the house afterwards & he keeps asking me if i want him there for the birth of our daughter. I don’t want to take that opportunity away from him because it’s his baby too but i just feel like he’s unsupportive & will stress me out. what should I do ?? 😔😔😔
