I need recommendations 😭

My son got switched to while milk his 13m now . His so constipated that he bleeds when he poops. I give him 2oz of prune juice in the mornings and the next day I will give him the prune liquid medicine if I don’t he suffers so much. The doctor said, just give him water his not a cow he don’t need whole milk okay, well he cries for his bottle and won’t take it just with water. What else can I give him to full him something similar to whole milk or idk I’m just so upset 😭. Sorry, got blabbering through my whole post .

My son was the same way. Cow milk makes him super constipated and I would have to give him miralax to help him poop. I switched him over to almond milk when he was 13 months. He is now 21 months and only drinks almond milk.

Can you try 2% or 1% milk? Or just add a little bit of water to his whole milk? Whole milk really isn’t necessary. I also like to give my son dried fruit (apricots, prunes, raisins, etc) and high fiber fruit, like pears.

Try nido powder formula we had the same problem our daughter would cry so bad every time she had too poop because it hurt her, we tried everything my mom told me too try nido 1-3 it’s like formula we do 32 oz of milk a day and she no longer has any problems going too the bathroom, you can find it at Costco or food for less or target. Can you give him another type of milk? Maybe like soy or oat milk? I’m not sure about this either... my daughter is only 6 months and I’m dreading having to give her whole milk because dairy really isn’t that good for us but idk I’m not a doctor lol

We did goat milk, which is closer to breast milk before transitioning to whole milk.
